Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival Kuala Lumpur & Half Day City Tour – Private | MEAL |
Welcome to Kuala Lumpur. Pick up from airport, and proceed to hotel for check in. Enroute to Putrajaya, Malaysia’s administrative center for photo stop. Photo stop at Putra Jaya Government Centre, where numerous new government complexes are in this new township.
Standing beside Dataran Putra and facing the Putrajaya Lake, is the Putra Mosque. Undoubtedly the most imposing structure, this pinkish mosque incorporates architectural elements from Turkestan, Kazakhstan, and Morocco. The Prime Minister’s office, Putra Perdana is the eye–catching building on the main hill with mixed architectural influences of Islamic and European cultures. This interesting city tour will unveil the beauty and charm of the old and new Kuala Lumpur known as the “Garden City of Lights”. See the contrast of the magnificent skyscrapers against buildings of the colonial days. The KL city tour will take you to many of the highlights that this beautiful city has to offer. By the end of the tour, you will probably feel as if you have “seen” the soul of Kuala Lumpur. DAY 2: Full Day Genting Highlands Experience – Private | |
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up for full day Genting Highlands tour. Enroute Batu Caves for a photo stop. Later proceed directly to Genting Highlands. Located approximately 6,000 feet above sea level and fringed by one of the oldest tropical jungles in the world amidst the freshness of cool crisp mountain air lies Malaysia’s biggest casino resort of Genting Highlands.
Enjoy the panoramic view of the highlands and tropical forest as you ride in one of the longest and fastest cable cars in Southeast Asia to the top of the mountain. Take a walk around the peak and enjoy the crisp and cool mountain air. Its world–class casino provides a truly memorable gaming experience. Try your luck at Blackjack, Keno, Roulette, or a host of other casino games. If tempting lady luck is not your cup of tea, take time off to enjoy a day filled with fun and excitement at the outdoor theme park Genting SkyWorlds, or Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park. There are numerous retail and dining outlets as well as a luxurious spa for those looking to pamper or to be pampered. NOTE(s): • Not inclusive: Theme Parks ticket, meals, spa or shows. • Activities at the theme park are at your own leisure and without accompanied guide. • Wear a long-sleeved shirt and pants or bring along a sweater/jacket. Genting Highland can be chilly even during daytime. IMPORTANT REMARKS FOR CASINO ENTRANCE: • Persons below 21 years old are not allowed into the casino. • Dress code for casino entrance: Guests must observe the smart dress code upon entering the casino. Guests wearing singlets, shorts, slippers, hats, caps, helmets, sunglasses, masks, veils, or any other items which conceal their facial features (fully or partially) are prohibited from entering the casino. • Foreign Tourists need to bring and show their passport if would like to enter the Casino. DAY 3: Full Day Malacca Tour – Private | |
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up for day tour to historical Malacca.
Malacca is a UNESCO heritage site; the historic colonial town is a living testimony to the multi–cultural heritage of traditional Asia and European colonial influences. Here many battles have been fought to gain control of this strategic base located between the Eastern and Western world leading to the monopoly and control of the lucrative East Indies’ spice trade. When the early European settlers departed, they left behind a treasure trove of historical buildings and landmarks synonymous to Malacca today. Drive passes the Bukit China or Chinese Hill– the largest Chinese cemetery outside of China. Stop at the foothill to view the Sultan’s Well before driving through the Portuguese Settlement. Visit the famous gateway, ‘Porta De Santiago’ and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church lined with 17th century Dutch tombstones. Continue to the ‘Red Square’– the salmon pink Dutch administrative buildings which today houses the Malacca Museum and government offices. Visit Christ church before proceeding for lunch. After lunch, we visit the ‘Abode Merciful Clouds’ or the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple– the only temple where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese beliefs of Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Lastly, take a stroll along the famous Jonker Street which also houses rows of antique shops Malaccan’s style. NOTE(s): • Wear comfortable walking shoes. |
